The city of Saronno (VA)

Saronno is located in the territory of the Altomilanese, at the intersection of the provinces of Milan, Como, Varese and Monza and Brianza.
From Saronno you can easily reach all the most important cities in the area, in a short time and thanks to the means available (Railway Station) and a short distance from the residence.

A considerable part of the population gravitates, for reasons of work or study, over Milan, but the city also enjoys a life of its own, which also involves the inhabitants of the neighboring municipalities, who attend local schools or work in the city.

The city of Saronno offers a complete state and non-state education system, from nursery schools to a university course. For this reason Saronno is the school center of reference for the countries of the Saronnese area.

The municipal area is crossed, in the western area, by the A9 motorway (Lainate-Como Chiasso), directly connected to the city via the “Saronno” and “Origgio-Uboldo” junctions, and by several high-traffic arteries, including the SP 233 “Varesina” (from Milan to Varese) and the SP 527 “Bustese” towards Busto Arsizio and Monza.

The station of Saronno (FN) is a fundamental node of interchange of the regional network (Saronno-Milan, Saronno-Laveno, Novara-Seregno, Saronno-Como lines), of the suburban railway service of Milan (Line S1, Line S3 and starting from 9 December 2012, including the extended S9 Line) and the Malpensa Express, operated by Trenord.
